Curiosity, I really admire the way you have looked after your kids and coped so well on your own. You always sound so laid back about it all - sometimes I feel permanently stressed out coping with the kids on my own. Especially when we're snowed in!! I too have relied heavily upon cbeebies to entertain them. lol.

Congratulations mrss77.

to both starshaker and mrss77 im 37 wks with non id twins.
i didnt show until 20 weeks, you dont have to buy lots of mat clothes, but get good mat bra i have worn same size throughout my preg and have used bra extenders in last 5 weeks, saves you a lot of money if you dont go too big.La Senza 3 for £5
New Look do maternity bump bands 3 for £10, when you get bigger it feels like your being held nice and secure, def the best thing i have bought.
go to primark and get some huge pj bottoms, bigger the better, mat pyjamas cost a fortune and you dont need them.
primark, tesco and asda have good selection of cheap baby clothes-try and have your essential shoppping done early, i got mine by wk 28-and now so glad as i cant do anything!
ensure you have someone to help you in late preg-i am very active and healthy but just cant do anything now, you must have support.
ask your midwife about local twins group-i have been to couple of sessions and it was very reassuring to see women who had 6 week old twins looking happy, healthy and made me realise i will be able to leave the house!
good luck x

chops - you wouldn't say that if you saw me today or during most of the twin pregnancy TBH!!!! lol. I have to try to be laidback, I'm a fairly worried person actually! I think the trick is to talk yourself into relaxing a bit or talk up how relaxed you are.

star - remembered about my SPD. I got it much much worse with the twins than with my singletons. I found getting a proper support belt from the midwife as early on as possible and wearing it whenever I was upright very helpful. The bog standard belts didn't do much. I'd say keep an eye out for the pain and get it sorted properly at the earliest opportunity. Mine came on around 16 weeks and I found I could barely walk or lift my legs till I got the belt at 20 weeks. I have still got stiffness in my hips and legs now (DTs are 10 weeks tomorrow).
