The information you have already been given is right. Twin club is really just another parent and toddler group (they'll be with their parents I take it) and so it all depends where you decide to locate your twin club.

To save money, just ring round a few places you think might be suitable and just ask the manager whether the room comes with insurance. I'd go for premises where they already hold a parent and toddler group personally.

Hi, Tamba, the twins association, can help you set one up, I was going to set one up (we're in SE16 - Tower Bridge/Bermondsey area of London), but I barely have the time to go to the loo / make a cup of tea so never got past emailing Tamba, see www.tamba.org.uk/twins-clubs.php - and good luck!

I run one, depends on the venue as to whether you need insurance. Ours has it already. Also, make contact with your PCT, we get a room free in one of their buildings, also, the new childrens centres are springing up, they should have free rooms too.

Make sure you do some marketing, tell all the HV and midwives, stick posters in the local hosp, register with TAMBA (that's where most of our members come from)

Good luck
