Hi, I am pregnant with twins and can't decide which double buggy to buy. I like the EasyWalker DuoWalker and the Mountain Buggy - any reviews/opinions on either?? Which would you go for?? Thanks

Thanks for the offer Mel ... it's much appreciated. However, the Duowalker takes MaxiCosi car seats and we have Britax ... but it's not an issue for us. I'm sure someone will jump at the chance though. Thanks again.

Hi do any of you twin buggy experts know which buggy board is best fit for a double urban mountain buggy? Have no experience using buggy boards, my twins are due in 7wks or less and I have a 2 year old that will only walk a bit. Thanks in anticipation.

Hi there, I have the mountain buggy urban and it's the best bit of kit I have. I had the individual carrycots which I bought off ebay (they only need them for 4 months so hardly any wear) as I think it is important for them to be able to lie flat. They were also great for going to friends houses where they could sleep happily. Also, the double carrycot is big and bulky and I thought that really it needed two people to put on and off with babies in (I know they don't recommend this but it was easy with the individual cots). I have a multipla and it fits easily into the boot on its side. If any shop/ restaurant has wheelchair access: we can get in. I have been all over purbeck hills with it and apart from the odd puncture it has been great. Resale value also good.

i have the double and single mountain buggy and use the kiddyboards with them (you can have two on the double MB) they are really easy to get on and off and my children love them.

Hey Mel,

sorry to be cheeky but do you still have those car seat adaptors. I've just purchased the duowalker as have 14 month old son and expecting his baby brother in Feb and so will be using my Maxi cosi on the chassis.
Willing to pay for them too

I know its a bit late on since the last post, but i have had a double mountain buggy & the duowalker. we sold the mountainbuggy after a new shop local to us (chester area) started to stock the easywalker range, and out of curiosity i went and had a look.

Basically - The MB is good but the duowalker is better in just about every single way.

I was very happy with the MB until i saw the easywalker - i got the MB out of the boot & compared them side by side. I just wanted the easywalker.

key points about the easywalker:
-4kg lighter than MB
-adjustable spring suspension on back wheels improving handling
-better colours
-easier to add/remove carrycot & seat units
-seperate hoods over each seat
-massive pockets on backs of seats
-real quick release wheels, front & back
-much smaller folded size
-ability to fold standing up without bending
-costs less than MB
-2 carseats (i saw with my own eyes)

let me say that in 5 years time, mountainbuggy will be completely overshadowed by easywalker.

hope this helps people.

I can finally say, now that I've got the easywalker out of the shed and DD3 is 11months old that it is FANTASTIC and I wouldn't look at anything else

its been a dream to use

Easy walker is good compared to the MB if you need to fold/put in car regularly then it is the one to go for, if you don't need to do these then both are good.

Also worth considering MB's stock issues since they went into administration, it's becoming increasingly difficult to purchase.

Sounds like I am in the same situation- with twins on the way, due November, and nowhere nearby to try out a double buggy (either a mountain buggy or easywalker). Baby World, in Munster Road Fulham are the only place in London that i have found that stocks the Easywalker, so at least you can try before you by. Sorry that i don't have the exact contact details but Google will tell all. I am now considering a second hand ebay mountain buggy as there does not seem much between the two buggies.

The Duo walker takes two maxi cosy car seats, it's their best selling point.

Hiya x

I have just ordered the easywalker duo from a shop in Salisbury - they have the duo all set so you have a proper play with it.

My baby number 2 is due in Dec so can't wait to try it out for real. I have ordered the duo and the maxi cosi adapters.

This is the salisbury shop's website

www.totwheels.co.uk

I asked my shop if they could give me a telephone number for the stockists for the easywalker as my friend in Scotland is looking view one near her.

This is the number
01293 774924

worth calling as my local stockist isn't listed on the website.

We're moving abroad so I'm just about to sell my Easy Walker and 2 carrycots that go with it. They've barely been used as my twins are only 13 weeks. Please do message me if you're interested.

Hi 1000cals,

This is my 1st post on the website, I tried to message you but it said that your profile could not accept messages, so not sure what that means.

Can you give me a few more details about your Easywalker like the colour as I would be interested?

I have a 2 years old and 1 due in November, so have been having the debate about whether to get a double buggy at all, but like the fact that this can have a seat and carrycot/carseat at the same time.

Hope to hear from you soon.
