What did everyone do for travel buggy’s

My twins are now 14 months, we have the bugaboo donkey and still use this for all daily use and for day trips out, we took it on holiday with us a few weeks ago but it was a UK caravan holiday.
We are going to a euro camp in Corsica at the start of July with the twins and our 3 year, I don’t want to take the bugaboo as it’s so big and I’d rather something that can fold really small. I’m think thinking it will either be the mountbuggy nano duo, baby jogger or 2 of the ultra compact buggy’s like the baby zen yo-yo or the bugaboo butterfly. What did everyone else do?

When our twins were small we bought 2 of the cheapy folding buggies. We also bought a set of those wee connector clips so we could join them together to form a double buggy if we needed to, but we never did and DH and I just pushed one each. Granted this was 12/13 years ago but they were less than £25 each so if they got damaged on the planes we weren’t too concerned

We got the mountain buggy nano duo when we went to Italy when our twins were 11 months and eldest 3. I love this pushchair and use it most of the time now (rarely use our donkey). It folds so small and is really easy to carry once folded. We generally took a sling out with us too whilst on holiday, so if the 3 year old fatigued we would put 1 of the twins in a sling and the 3 year old in the pushchair. I didn't want to get 2 single pushchairs as it means needing both parents to push. And we would often split up especially around nap time- one would walk the twins around to get them to sleep whilst the other played with the 3 year old for example. By having a double stroller it allows me to use it now for short trips to the park and school run when on my own with 2 toddlers.

Although having thais meant that there is no grantee the pushchair will be at the gate when you arrive. Our most recent plane journey didnt have the pushchair at the gate upon arrival and after a 12 hour flight with 3 tired children it was difficult to carry them all and our hand luggage through security to baggage reclaim. A yo yo for example could be taken onto the plane with you to mitigate this, although this would reduce your hand luggage allowance by 2 items.

We're got 2 yo-yos. We have a city mini gt too and I'd be torn over what to take on hols. Both got their pros and cons!
