Spotting at 6 weeks

Hi all. I have been intermittent spotting for the last 10 days. It's very light, only when I wipe, mostly pink tinted mucus. I was referred for a scan at epu and told it's twins. Any other mums of twins/ multiples experienced spotting during first few weeks of pregnancy? Looking for reassurance

I just wanted to say how lovely this thread is. I found out on Tuesday that I'm having twins and instead of looking at horror stories I'm trying to focus on the positive, which this thread is 😊

I realise this is an old thread but I’ve been desperate to find positive stories. I had IVF FET with PgS tested embryo. Got my BFP then 5wk 3 days, cramping and bleed - brown, pink, bright red. Pleaded for a scan - they saw two sacs. One more developed than the other but said measuring fine for the stage (no heartbeat as too early) and they couldn’t see where the bleed was coming from. Bleed calmed and 2 days later (this morning), period like pains again, bright red blood and now brown though pain has died down. I’m on Steroids to supremes immune system (thought to have high Nk cells), cyclogest (taking them rectally), lubion inhection, blood thinners. I’m wondering if I’m having vanishing twin though not sure if you’d bleed. Who knows. I’m so desperate for my scan on Thursday (I’ll be almost 7 weeks). I’ve had 6MCs (from natural conceptions) and 1 successful DD via ICSI/IVF. This is our one and only chance of a sibling as DH had cancer last year and now infertile. Feel like I’ve lost my nausea. I’m just over thinking everything too.

Sorry to hear this. I had similar and ended up with vanishing twin. I didn’t have cramping but had 2 bleeds a few days apart from each other. First scan on the first bleed all looked ok and 2nd is when one had stopped growing. But it did end well and I have my beautiful 15 week old baby in my arms now. Good luck

Thanks for your note @Sar1990 and congratulations on your DC. Praying I’ll be following suit. My bleeds taper off and then start again it seems the last 4 days. Thankfully the ache/period like pain has stopped. Just have to wait and see what Thursdays scan says I guess. Trying hard to manage my expectations.
