Car seat recommendations for 3

Hello!
Just looking for some advice about car seats! We have an 11 month old and are expecting twins early next summer (all going well!)
Our son is still in his infant car seat but is bursting out of it all of a sudden so we need to get a bigger one. At the moment we have a Corsa so a new car is going to be non negotiable with two new babies and I definitely want to get one with 3 Isofix points.

I'm just thinking to the future when we need to have 3 of the same car seats in the back - would anyone recommend any that are good with that in mind? I like the idea of the 360 spin ones but could you have three of those? I'm thinking it may be difficult to manoeuvre.

Any tips appreciated! Thanks 😊

I don't think you can spin seats if they're side by side.

We had a 20 month old when our twins were born. When the twins outgrew the baby seats, we got them 2 Joie Every Stage, same as our eldest had. The girls were RF for a while, then we changed to FF. We have non Isofix but I believe there's an Isofix version too.

With 3 car seats you won't be able to use the spin function.

I have twins and have a Citroen Grand Picasso so 3 full size seats in middle row with isofix. They are sat behind passenger and driver and when I spin their seats they don't leave a lot of space for the middle seat so no way I could use the spin if I had a child in the middle seat.

Thanks for the tips!
@Wishing56 I did think that about the spinning ones and the middle seat..... everyone just raves about them! Good to hear it from someone who knows!

@isurvived3under2 That seat looks good! Especially the fact it lasts until the age of 12. Where we are we're in lockdown and lots of shops are closed but when they're open I think we'll go in and look at that one and speak to someone in the flesh

Following this...we have twins and a 3 year old (SD so not with us all the time).

After trying numerous cars, we’ve ended up with a Skoda Octavia. SD sits in the passenger seat when she’s here, twins always in the back with spin seats and I squeeze into the middle seat while my husband drives. It’s a bit of an effort but worth it for the boot space 😍

Make sure the car has three full seats and all seats can be used for car seats as some family cars are not family friendly. Also check car insurance as some have a low limit for claims on car seats if you ever need it.

Also watch for storage boxes as it can be a problem for car seats with a support leg.
Most people recommend maxing out the infant seat then moving up.

Rear facing is the safest way for children to travel. So I would recommend looking at rear facing seat for your 11 month old that goes up to 25kg miss the spin seat altogether to save money. Spin seats take up lots of space and will make it harder to get all three in.
Keep to brand names like Britax, Axkid, Besafe for 25kg seats. Cybex, Joie, Maxi-Cosi, Axkid and Britax for infant seats.

I have an Axkid One (£600) and they do a One+ (I think £700) for newborns it is expensive and I only have one child so didn't have to worry about buying lots of seats. It has a weight limit of 23kg the highest of an isofix seats (isofix points can have a max of 33kg seat + child) and hight of 125cm. So unless you have really high percentiles children around 5-7 years of age. Then they can have a high back booster which are not very expensive.

www.thecottonnappycompany.co.uk/ this company is very helpful and knowledge about about car seats.

Lots of Facebook groups on car seats for advice as well.
