Anyone had a Marco Sky Tandem buggy? Does it easily fit on the bus?

I'm thinking of getting one of these buggies - can anyone recommend/or not? Would like a buggy that fits on the bus without displacing most of the passengers! My DTs are 17 months so no longer sleep in the pram, I just need something cheap and practical to get round the shops.

I haven't actually used mine on the bus, but I reckon it would be fine...it's no longer than a big single because the back seats that bit higher than the front. It is quite heavy though, so could be difficult to lift on and off the bus with 2 toddlers in is as well. They are good, and my girls loved theirs.

However, I am looking to sell mine...nothing wrong with it, but I managed to get hold of a 2nd hand Jane Powertwin which is fabbo (although definitely not good for the bus, way too long . So if you're interested, let me know - I'm in North London, and it would probably be easier to collect/meet somewhere to drop off if you're anywhere near me.

Funny - I am looking to buy one to replace my Jane Powertwin!

Would definitely be interested - I'm in Stoke Newington, N16. How much would you want for it?

I used to live in Stoke Newington!! And I used to go to the twins club there! When my DTs were born I lived in London Fields in Hackney, but we soon realised we needed more space so we moved to Southgate about 18 months ago.

Anyway, the buggy...I bought it second hand from another Mner, so it would be 3rd hand. It's got all the bits with it - hood and raincover, but no instructions and although the lady I bought it from showed me how to attach the hood and raincover, I've never managed it since! I'm sure it's not that hard though - I've just only ever tried it in a rush . If you don't mind coming to collect, I'd be happy with £30. Do you want to email me - tracy oneill @ blue yonder dot co dot uk (take out the spaces).

but its BLOODY HEAVY TO HAUL ON!!

hey, what a co-incidence! I've been going to the Stokey twins group since mine were small - have met some lovely mums there.

Cheers for the kind offer - but I'm having second thoughts on this buggy after pushing two heavy toddlers in a friends model. It's a great size but I don't think I could actually heft it onto the bus - or up a curb, it's like a tank! Am also a bit of a shortie and the handles are high up. Gaaah, back to the drawing board, will probably end up with a Phil & Teds like everyone else .

No problem gb. I had to use it yesterday as my jane has a puncture and I found it extremely heavy and unwieldy to push. I was going to post today to let you know it might not be the best choice for bus travel . how about one of these?
