tips for setting up a good twins club

Our twins club isn't working. It's in a soft play centre fortnightly and so many things make it a place you don't return to.
1, seats are attached to tables and I'm not fat but it's tricky to feed bf or ff a baby let alone 2.
2, once babies are crawling you have to pay for entry. I also have dd1 so entry is nearly £10 plus more if I want a coffee
3, everyone is spaced out with mums of non multiples there too so you don't know if you're talking to a mum of multiples or not so end up sitting not talking to anyone

So, a few of us, plus the woman who has been left running it on her own, have decided to set up a committee and get things changed. I know there are some very successful twin clubs so what works best? Any tips would be gratefully received!

I can see why that wouldn't work!

I go to a great twins club in a church hall. There are three 'sections'.

First is for babies / just starting to crawl. There are gym type mats on the floor, and then blankets, donated bouncy chairs and toys.

Second is for the toddlers, they have the run of the hall with lots of toys.

The pre-schoolers get taken upstairs for structured play / stories / songs etc which are led mainly by parents of school aged multiples.

There is tea / coffee and biscuits.

I don't know how they make it work but it is a suggested £2 per family, and some pay what they can afford whether that's 50p or whatever. Membership is £6 a year. There are two sessions a week, 10-12. There are a LOT of twins in this area and its always busy. I guess its more like a playgroup that just happens to be for multiples?
