Argh! I wish today was over!

I'm having a moan so please bear with me or ignore me i won't be offended Wink
So last night the footie was on so my darling OH decided to get himself a few beers - fine! But then proceeded to drink allllll of the beers so that I got zero sleep whilst he snored his head off. The girls have been cranky all day and I haven't been a bundle of laughs either. Then when I suggest he didn't need to drink all of the beers I then get 'when was the last time I went out and really enjoyed myself....blah, blah, blah!'. Er, hello! What do you think I do all day? Un-fecking believable! My twins are having a nap after both screaming at a zillion decibels for about an hour for no apparent reason but hey at least I don't have to work hey!
Argh! I just want to scream and I flipping would but I know my little angels would wake up. I have to wake them soon anyway so what the hell.....lol!

Wine, my lovely. And drink alllll the bottle so OH gets zero sleep while you snore your head off :)
We all have those days - DTS has also been cranky today, really whiney and clingy and I know it's his teeth bless him and he can't help it, but god am I glad they are in bed now!
What I said in the first line though, that's how me and DH deal with the odd night where one of us gets to go out - take turns to be 'on duty'. Mind you this has only been since the night feeds stopped - how old are your girls?

Hope you have a much better day tomorrow, hug for you x

Hey! Love your response Wink
My girls are 6.5 months and still have one night feed - well it's more like an early morning one - 5am.
My girls are fast asleep and soon i shall follow Grin

Totally with benjala- twins should come with a wine prescription! When one is asleep, the other is awake - its like they're keeping watch! Of course OH snores through the whole process.... Grin

I've just had a hernia op (hernia caused by carrying twins in car seats when pushchair won't fit or I'm trying to nip into the post office!) as such I've needed rest and have been unable to lift! I have 10mo twins (one crawling and the other rolling everywhere) so dh has had to do childcare (parents have helped for some of the day but not all). It's the 1st time he's looks after dtds and dd1 all on his own all day and now he finally gets how I feel when he leaves the house at 7.20am and returns at 6.45pm! He's apparently going to try to get home earlier and will start leaving at 8.10am so he can help with breakfast. Means he'll have to stop lift sharing but I think he now understands why occasionally (not too often) I have a meltdown.

PS. DH is banned from snoring and either I kick him hard or hold his nose. I'm a horrible wife ;)

You're not a horrible wife!
This last week has been horrid. My OH only wakes up just as I get to them then says 'oh I was just about to get up'. I am literally on my knees and I feel like I'm doing it all on my own at times.
To make matters worse they were going through from 7pm to 5pm now they've both started waking literally every hour so I'm exhausted Sad
