Hiy twins are just 6 months and aren't sitting up yet, and a lot of single babies are already doing this and beginning to crawl!

I was just wondering is it normalish for towns to be a little behind in your exsperience?? They roll from back to belly and belly to back!

It's hard with 2 trying to make sure they have enough belly time and trying to get them sitting unaided between sleeping and feeding!! If I sit them right up or lie them flat after feeds they just get sick!!!

6 months is early for crawling, don't worry you will hear it all the time but children develop at different rates.

When I had twins, mine are 23 months now, I read somewhere that twins development is a bit delayed, but I've not found it to be the case. I have an older child and whilst the twins didn't crawl and walk as quickly as he did, their language has developed much more quickly than DS1. I sometimes wonder if its because there are two of them and they copy eachother a lot, so one will do / say something and the other picks up on it really quickly. But I may be reading too much into it.

Don't worry and try not to compare each twin as well, really they do all develop at different rates.

Mine weren't prem, don't know if that effects children, would assume that it did.

My twins are 7 months 1 week.

My DTS rolled at 6 months and will travel the whole room by rolling.. DTD has only rolled once so far. She can sit up for 5-10 minutes if I put her in the right position, DTS only for a few seconds.

I know loads of twins about the same age and most are at same stage as mine, none are pulling themselves up, crawling or coasting yet. Some can't yet roll at 7 months. I was told twins are usually a few weeks behind

Mine we 36 weeks so good for twins!!

So far my two are remarkably the same, I always here how different twins are but they har been rolling, babbling, laughing all at same stages .. So far!!

My older dd was prem and is 17 months doesn't walk et but her speech is amazing!! :)

I'm happy for them to stay out to be honest I'm
Not at all worried about them just yet, my dd didn't sit up unaided till 8 months!! Just seams we are always doing something so the time to just "sit" them is rare, with one thing or another it's all go go

What tryingnotofeckup said.

My twins weren't really talking until they were 2 1/2, i.e. pretty late and we worried about it at the time.

Here is what one of them (now aged 4) said the other day:

"I suggest that an atomic bomb is more powerful than a trebuchet" (they are boys, after all)

He's not a genius, he's a very silly little boy!

Its hard not to compare with others. Physically, one of ours was well ahead of her singleton peers as she was walking/staggering with a walker at 9.5months and walking by her first birthday. They didn't say much at all until they got to 2 which was after quite a few of their peers however they more than caught up and overtook.
