14 month twins routine??

Anyone like to share their routine for twins at 14 months? And maybe have a crack at answering a few questions I have? Ta!

Our day looks like this:

6.30 milk
7.30 breakfast
9.45ish - 11 nap in cot ( I wake them so that they take a second nap)
12 lunch
2 milk
2-3 nap (usually in buggy or car, they wake usually because we have arrived where we are going!)
5 tea
6.30 milk
7 bed

Even though we 'start' our day at 6.30, either one or both wakes between 5 and 5.30. Then we bring one in to our bed so they don't disturb each other if one is still sleeping. Sometimes they doze a bit, sometimes not. (They usually settle themselves no problem if they awake earlier in the night than this) We would love them to sleep later (obv!) and am wondering if tweaking their daytime sleep would help. They often only sleep 40 mins in the afternoon. Am thinking of waking them early from their morning nap, after say 30 mins, and then putting them down soon after lunch for a longer afternoon nap in their cots until about 2.30. (Yep, Gina Ford, I know).

Anyone's twins on one nap per day? What age did yours do this?
At the moment I feel that we are in a sort of 'in between' phase where they could nearly manage one long nap per day but not quite. Would love it though as I hate waking them at 11 so their second nap is early enough to keep bedtime at 7.
Phew, much longer post than I intended, any words of wisdom/examples of your daily routine greatly appreciated. Thanks x

Mine are 12 months & have a v similar routine to yours but without the daytime milks. My boy has 2 naps but my girl has dropped the morning nap already. Both sleep from 7 till 6 ish. Smile

Forgot to say... I don't wake mine unless on the odd occasion the afternoon nap is running on past 4:30 ish.

we have 14m twin boys

their routine is:

awake and playing in their cot's - between 6.30 to 7.30

milk in their cot's - 7.15 to 8.15

breakfast until 8 to 9

playtime until 11.30

lunch 11.30

play until 1.15

milk in cot's at 1.15

sleep from 1.30 to 4

play until 4.30

4.30-5ish supper

play until 6.15

6.15 bath, milk, story and nite-nite.

Sometimes Tom will wake before midnight but will always go back and we might get Tom awake between 2 and 4, but back to sleep again.

So generally their sleeping is ace, in fact they are both amazing at socialising, playing, eating, and sleeping. Our one real issue is how rough they play, they are literally kicking the c#ap out of each other. Do you have the same issues?

Its getting very rough, pulling hair, climbing and falling off things, throwing toys, any thoughts?

Hi - my 2 are 18 months now but have had the same routine for quite a while now very similar to Ferris124's but without the milk. We dont tend to wake them either.

Rough play - hair pulling, climbing, falling, biting etc etc yep that happens here too we have a new bruise most days I am told its just a phase. Hmm

Thanks everyone for sharing - interesting to see quite late afternoon naps ( compared to ours) don't seem to affect bedtime. Might try that so mine are not quite so exhausted at bedtime.

My boy has been quite placid until now, with my girl being far more rough - hitting her brother if he has anything she wants ( which is everything he picks up). But today he has pulled her hair and hit her and bitten her, so looks like this rough phase might be starting for us too. I have also read that it is just a phase - like most things seem to be - but doesn't make these things any easier when you are in the middle of that particular phase though, does it?! When one of them hits or something, I have been saying something like "No we don't hit. Hitting hurts. Ouch." and then giving my attention to the other one. Doesn't seem to have any effect whatsoever though Confused

Fezella you said yours don't have milk - have they dropped their bedtime bottle too?

Benjalamummy both twins went on milk strike at about 9 months - still on it now at 18 months.
