Hello

Hurray my twin girls were born 2 weeks ago all very very fine... now we are suddenly realising that SOON we'll need some way to transport the girls and our hefty 19 month old son. We were told that ABC twin buggies with toddler seat to add on are fab - but looking them up online they take 4 weeks to come from NZ and cost about £700 new. Gulp. Any advice / ideas about these buggies? And how maybe to get them not so dear and from not such a distance?

Ta in advance.

ebay?
looks like you'd get a fair chunk of your money back

T3 jogger no idea if this is any good

Or what about a double with a buggy board?

Would recommend a lightweight double with a buggy board for your ds or a sling for a baby if your ds doesn't want to walk!

I have a pop duo which was £220ish and is nice and light - some doubles must be very heavy to push with 2 toddlers in! We also have a buggy for dd when my dp is with us to push as well.

Thank you all for the suggestions and links. We do already have a Maclaren double buggy - buggyboard is not such a good option as DS jumps off and runs away! Will try the DS + dd1 in buggy + dd2 in sling until we find a buggy for all 3. Living in Scotland in a hilly place = good buggy for all 3 would be best. So keep up the ideas and links if you can! Many thanks!

scotlian I know they aren't everyone's cup of tea but I've found reins very handy. Long enough strap held loose makes dd1 feel pretty independant and not held but I feel safer that she can't get far if she decides to bolt!

Ladies you are all fab. EldonAve, will be bidding for that on Ebay...and SC3, I will use reins eventually but at the mo have a 4 finger stomach muscle separation and can't face the (inevitable) need to carry my kicking ds by the reins when he refuses to cooperate. Argh.

Have you looked at a strolli, Scotlian? One mum with twins at school used it with her then nearly 2yo and he seemed very happy. Twas on a maclaren of some sorts too.

Double buggy with a sling and a buggy board. Once your smallest is too big for the sling your eldest should be OK for the buggy board. Would recommend the icandy pear as it takes 2 baby car seats

Hello again!

We bought the ebay one that Eldon posted the link to: THANKS!! Should arrive tomorrow. Am now in shock as this means I am really truly definitely going to be parading up and down with 3 lo under 2 in a massive buggy. Ah, the days when I left home with just keys, phone and debit card in my pocket...

Thanks all so much, you've been so helpful.

:)
