Lactose free milk and formula

We live in Singapore and are coming back to the UK for Christmas. I suspect my son (almost 2) is lactose intolerant so he has lactose free milk and formula here.

Has anyone come across these in Sainsburys, Asda or Morrisons (the 3 supermarkets near my parents's house)?

if he is 2 years old he doesn't need formula.

you can get lactose free milk in sainsburys, or a variety of different alternatives (oat milk, soya milk, rice milk etc)

Thanks, I'll get my mum to look in Sainsbury's.

He doesn't drink formula much, it's just more convenient to carry when we're out and about and for the flight back.

Regarding the lactose free formula, there is SMA LF which can be bought in Boots.

My daughter is lactose intolerant and was prescribed Neutramigen by the GP. It's formula that has the lactose broken down. She's 2.5 now and would be fine with soya milk so they're currently reviewing it. But just to say that you can get a prescription if there is a bad problem.

Thanks ladies! Will send my mum to Boots and Sainsburys to investigate.

I actually saw some lactose free milk in Morrisons yesterday. In cartons.

It soya milk is ok, nearly all of the supermarkets will sell it in the chilled cabinet near the cows milk or long life.
