In the foreseeable future my family and I may have to move to Peterborough because of my husband's job,i was just wondering if people knew what it was like for multi cultural families,i'm black and dh is white and we have 3 children,i know every where's different but just wanted a bit of an idea, thanks.

Hi, sorry I can't be of more help but I used to visit my children's father in Peterborough when he was staying there, years ago. It seemed ok to me. Obviously with things, times change though. Why not take a day trip there to get a feel of the place? Good luck

I used to live in Peterborough bruces, nearly 10 years ago and it was a very multicultural city in those days and I believe is probably even more so now.

I really enjoyed living there - I lived right in the city centre for a while and a very good John Lewis and Waitrose were within easy walking distance which I loved. If you don't want to be in the city, some of the villages to the West are lovely.

I used to live in Peterborough and Wittering. I would happily move back there in a flash. Lovely area!
