Do you have any other criteria which would need to be taken into account, such as access to transport connections for travelling to work or a particular budget which can be used to buy a house or flat?

Swindon is quite diverse but has a very scruffy town centre. Good schools to the east and north. Not outstanding.
Reading is far better. Good schools, professional jobs and 23 minutes into London.
Stay away from county towns because they are very white unless you want 'where do you really come from'. We are a mixed heritage family.

Some areas that may be of interest are Birmingham, Bristol, West Midlands and Liverpool.

Perhaps another way of approaching this issue is: "where are the most dangerous places for black people in the UK ?" and avoid them. There must be statistics showing violence against black people on a regional basis. Does anybody know of where to find this information ?

Really, I live in a rural county town, have done for 48 years, never been an issue for me as a mixed race person

Come to North Wiltshire! Lots of lovely towns (excluding Swindon) and an increasing population of non white people. Great schools too (also outside of Swindon)

Following because I’d love to know too. I really love the quaint side of England and feel like the big cities are going terribly down hill on many levels.

Worried about going to a small village/town (which I would adore) with lots of pretty sights but later feeling somewhat bored about there not be enough recreational activities…

Im mixed heritage and moved to Warwick nearly 3 years ago. It's become steadily more mixed over the short time I've been here, Leamington spa just down the road is also beautiful and quite mixed, lots of students, who attend Warwick University. I've lived on the North East Coast, people where friendly, except I had rasist neighbours, had support from people who didn't want us to relocate but it became to much for me, so I relocated to Warwick. I was born and raised in Stoke-on-Trent most rasist place I've ever lived from the 1970s all the way to 2017 it never changed or got any better horrible area for black people.

I did some research using AI, and found these notable results:

Homicide Risk in London:
• Black homicide victimization: 5 times higher than White/Asian residents
• Young Black males (16-24): 10-20 times more likely to become homicide victims than White counterparts

Lambeth (Highest Black Population: 25.8%)
• 73% of gang-related violence victims are Black residents
• 69% of youth serious violence victims are Black
• 50% of gun crime victims are Black
• Black residents represent 39% of all violence victims despite being 25.8% of population

Crime rates against black people are similar for Southwark (25% black pop) and Hackney (21%).

Although data is patchy, it seems that the most dangerous areas for black people are those where a high proportion of the population is black.

Would recommend Kent! Ashford Maidstone Rochester it is getting more and more mixed and some of these towns have really good schools.

Bristol
Be wary of North Somerset and Somerset
