Japanese gifts

Hello, I hope it's ok to post here.
My 12 year old dd is madly in love with all things Japanese. I am hoping for gift ideas for her. She has Japanese chopsticks and uses them to eat everything including crisps Grin she has a kimono and I've bought her a kanji writing book and pen as she is learning the language. She loves anime and kawaii. Are there any websites that are recommended for gifts please?

Any pointers much appreciated, thank you.

Is she into craft/sewing - look at Sashiko kits - you can get kits quite cheap as a starter for her.
Also, there are wooden Kokeshi “dolls” painted that we got given by our Japanese colleagues that are cute- they do have meaning for the Japanese but might appeal if she likes decorative items
Bonsai tree?

You can order stuff direct from Japan via the Amazon-Japan website, although Amazon UK has quite a few Japanese themed gifts as well.
Have you heard of Maneki-neko, the Japanese waving cat? They're little cat figurines that are supposed to bring good luck. They're very popular in Japan and are really cute.

Link to SAshiko kits

It is very simple as running stitch, and the kits are in Japanese so authentic- but are very clear visually so she’ll be able to follow.

This place has lots of great stuff. How about a noodle bowl and some noodles to go in it? Sushi-making equipment/ingredients? Bento box for packed lunches? Maybe she would like a couple of magazines to look at if she's learning the language.

Are you anywhere near London? Go to the Japan centre near Leicester Square they sell all kinds of things. They have some of the moulds to do the rice shapes for making bento boxes and things. It's mainly a supermarket but they do have a section with other bits too.
