Mixed dc hair. White british mum & black British dad (family Guyanese)

2 DC hair is very different.
Mine is fairly straight. And dp is straightish when grown. Ds has tight ringlets, if left will form dreads, but I try to cornrow, boxbraid, twists, sometimes just bunches with his hair. We live in a remote part of uk, predominated by white British and polish with a few Muslims, Africans & sri Lankans. So hair products are a big problem! And due to where we live a lot of companies will not deliver to us at all.
Any recommendations on hair products would be great. Thank you

Hi Mummaluelae. The important thing is not to shampoo too often. The shampoos in most stores are just too harsh for mixed/afro hair and will dry it out. If you live in a hard water area, that also contributes to the problem. Conditioner will help mitigate that, particularly leave-in conditioners. Quite a few products are available on amazon, such as Africa's Best Organics Kids Shea Butter Detangling Moisturizing Hair Lotion with Olive Oil. You could also keep your son's hair short - though I appreciate you may not want to do this.

Should I use products for curly hair on my baby? His hair is not curly yet but its showing that will curl or should i use the shampoo i usually use

Don’t shampoo too often

Mixed chicks products are good use a wide toothcomb when wet and conditioned to remove any tangles ect I also do an oil (coconut usually) hair mask over night monthly and more occasionally in the summer when her hair drys out.
I spray my daughters daily with water , condition and comb to reduce any frizz.
Amazon should stock them.

SinglemomOf1, for a baby I would just use a regular baby shampoo or baby full body wash, and use sparingly.
