Forgive me for my ignorance

But is it appropriate to say Happy Eid ul fitr? Or is there a more appropriate phrase to acknowledge the festival/celebrations will begin?

hey,

well thats too bad pomi, we could find a neutral meeting point? you must be rushed off your feet with two kiddies, i struggle with one. I wouldnt change it for all the money in the world though.Felt so awfull yesterday , he walked into a door frame and sustained a huge egg sized bruise to his head, felt like crying when i saw it....funny how someone so tiny can touch your heart in such a huge way. Anyways , all is well now after some tlc and an icepack the swelling went down loads...thankgod, i mean he would have had a huge bump for eid! Any ways i better be off as there is still loads to be done for eid ...eid mubarak to all you guys ...chat soon amelixxx

Eid Mubarak and salam. I am flying on 8th Nov and there is very little time left for getting things done. I will inform you when i get back. At the moment there is no definite date as I have to attend a wedding there next year. Hope you understand that and wait for some time to meet up.
Stitch I am staying with my parents not inlaws. All my inlaws live here but it becomes more difficult to handle the kids when i visit them.
