EIM22030 - Benefits: exemptions: childcare and childcare vouchers: rules from 6 April 2005: meaning of "care" and "qualifying" childcare?
------------
Re the above. I'm wondering if that includes summer holiday camps run by the school in the school grounds or even things like sports camps / ski trips during the holidays. I know it covers nursery fees which is what I use it for but wondered how far the 'qualifying' part of the childcare must be?

Seeking clarity for the future...not sure whether to continue with it?!

(if it doesn't get the chop from the government first).

hmrc has a guidance leaflet IR115 available here. Lists for approved childcare start from page 9 and and slightly different for England, Wales, Scotland and NI.

Basic answer is childcare needs an ofsted number.
