Surveys for £££?

Does anybody know of any good sites where you can get paid to complete surveys and things? One that a) actually pays and b) pays a decent amount?

yougov are reliable but you have to complete quite a lot of surveys to get paid as you have to wait until you've earnt £50, I've been on their panel for a couple of years and usually do every survey they invite me to do and have had one £50 cheque and now up to about £35, they also have quite a few prizes for doing surveys but I haven't won any yet!

Thank you! I just want to earn some extra every now and then so building it up is fine by me!

Not surveys but another way to make money - if you buy stuff online you should join up with TopCashBack and check them every time you want to get something - it's usually a few % but I've had £15 for signing up to a LoveFIlm trial and £50 for buying AA membership, both of which I was going to do anyway.

(that link gets me £1 if you sign up, no difference to you, but obviously you can just type it into Google if you'd rather)

I had a whole list a while ago, somebody's blog. I will see if I can find it for you.

Agree that the cashback sites are better. The surveys get very annoying after a while! Mums Opinions is a good, well-paying one but as a BF, BLW mum I always seem to get screened out of their surveys

catinthehat2 · 28/03/2010 19:12

..and Quidco

PorphyrophillicPixie · 28/03/2010 21:02

Sorry Trillian, I'm already on there so no extra cash for you! On quidco too but the problem is the only stuff I really buy online are things from ebay or paddlesports gear so those sites aren't helpful for it

Thank you though It's reminded me to save the latter two in my toolbar as a reminder

Global Test Market is another one, very similar to yougov but I don't know the difference in pay.

TheBreastmilksOnMe · 28/03/2010 21:18

BertieBotts I can't seem to get on mums opinions- do you have a link for it please?

Tortoise · 28/03/2010 21:24

lightspeed are quite good. You get points per survey which you can exchange for paypal payments when you have enough (doesn't take long) and also pinecone research pay paypal for each survey done. Think both of these can only be signed up for if they advertise for people though. Normally via ads on websites.

BertieBotts · 28/03/2010 21:27

Have just checked through my old emails and it looks like they folded in January, sorry. It was linked to Bounty and they said in the email that I would be contacted to be in their new panel but can't see anything. I hadn't used it for a while anyway though.

PorphyrophillicPixie · 28/03/2010 21:29

TopCashBack or Quidco? Which is better?

Bertie: I'm not a Mum so I don't think they'd appreciate my input

Theres a reliable list on the money saving expert page.
I am with pinecone research (usually invite only but i searched for a while and found a link),
Dooyoo, you write reviews and build up points.
onepoll, takes ages to reach the limit.

ShadeofViolet · 06/04/2010 14:13

You can sign up to Lightspeed at anytime.
