Paying back Social Fund Loan...

I got one of these for £4400 when i was on income support and so much a week was being taken out to pay it back. Now my circumstances have changed and me and dp are on job seekers as a family.
Does anyone know if my loan can be taken from this to repay it, or from child tax??

Amazing you got a loan for so much. There is an upper limit of £1500.

They can take a deduction from your JSA.

They cant take deduction from your CTC.

If you go off benefits and dont make arrangements to pay they also will start debt collection procedures.

They can deduct from JSA but not from CTC. If you leave benefits they can take action to recover the debt as for any other debt.
