How much "other income" are you allowed to have (if any) before they start deducting from benefits??

I thought it was at least £10 a week you could keep (though do have vague recollectios of it going up to £20 a year or so back)?

I seem to have about £300 a month in my mind.
But am not sure.

it's ok - thanks - have called and they're looking into it (it's £20 a week apparently)

I've just got my income support letter and instead of deducting £7 a week from my IS they've deducted £27!!!

Depends what the income is.

Maintenance £20 (full disregard from April)
Earnings disregard £20 for carers, lone parents and disabled
