HELP! Been registered as a Limited Company by my Agency....

I start a new job on 8th August through an Agency.
They have sent me the formal offer showing my Daily rate of pay. I noticed it said £* ltd per day.

I phoned the Agency and they told me that I have been registered as a PLC because it's more tax efficient. This means I pay myself a wage and pay the rest as business profits (therefore only pay Corporate tax.... I think).

They have registered my through a company called Brooklyns who apparently deal with it all for me.

Does anyone know anything about all this??? It's really confusing me! And how much money is likely to save me????

HELP??? I don't want to seem like a numpty to my Agency.

as long as you are happy with it, then nothing else matters and im happy for you if youre happy - more than the money aspect though, i was concerned for you about the lack of security (but then me and dh ran a business for 5 yrs that went bust and left us destitute so i may be biased!)
i also have experience of unscrupulous companies who make you be 'self-employed' to avoid the responsibilities that come with being your employer then treat you like shite and get rid of you with no notice if you wont work a gazillion hours a week etc etc, so just wanted to warn and make sure you had considered things like that too, but didnt realise you are experienced in that line so of course you know about it. (duh me!!)
