Your opinion and your experience please.
Does anyone have Private Health Care even with some sort of health condition?

Just wondering.

TIA

I was very lucky that I got it as a perk in my last job. I paid a small amount each month to add dd to my plan.
I never used it personally, but when we thought dd had a squint she was seen immediately rather than the 3 months it would have been, and she also got a more thorough examination. I had to have my tonsils out pretty soon after I started my job, but I had been waiting more than a year on the NHS for that op, whereas if I had gone private it would have been done a lot sooner.
Now I'm not working, it's not something I miss, but it was a very reassuring thing to have, if you have the means to afford it.

It's the one 'luxury' I wouldn't do without. I'd choose it over a holiday every time. In fact we dont have many holidays abroad anymore but the security of knowing that my family don't have to wait to see a consultant or for treatment is so comforting. I have a pre existing condition that is not covered by my policy.

yes
it will always depend on the condition though and they often adjust the premium
