What Should I Sell On E-bay?

I am wondering if I could make some money selling items on e-bay . I haven't sold anything yet and will start by selling a few items I have kicking about the house for "practice" .
So what is a good thing to sell? I would like to have a reasonably constant source of products and
not too much storage space
BIL sells cds and does well but I don't have his extensive/ bordering on obssesive knowledge.

I sell a lot of dd stuff on ebay, as others have said obvious designer stuff such as burberry sells really well whereas perhaps more tasteful stuff doesn't sell quite as well. I have also noticed that I get good prices for monsoon and Balu clothes.

If I have cheaper items I bundle them togther to cut down on fees and to make it worthwhile. So for example I put together capsule wardrobes such as a pink summer jacket with a pair of trousers and two co ordinating tops. I really couldn't be bothered doing lots of 99p sales.

Ladies clothing seems to sell better if you put "boho chic" or "Sienna Miller" in the title, even if it is just a skirt with an elastic waste from Marks circa 1979!

I have also noted people selling stuff that I have seen in TKMaxx at inflated prices. I have sold a few of my daughter's outfits that I bought in TKmaxx and actually got a higher price than what I paid originally. My dp keeps nagging me to sell more seriously on ebay perhaps buying specifically to sell but I never get round to it. I also have a loft full of dd clothes that I need to work through first.

Treacle tart I have also noted lots of primark stuff on ebay at inflated prices, I myself dropped out while bidding for a dress that finally sold for £30, i saw it in primark the following week for £14. The gold shrugs that are £10 in primark are also going for triple that price. I think the sellers advertise it as "Well known high street store" To be honest I think I would willingly pay quid surcharge to avoid the queues and the price of parking in manchester!

I think it is quite time consuming moondog hence I don't sell items that are not going to get a reasonable price or if I do I bundle them together. But some people do seem to list lots of high street stuff indiviually and therefore sell at 99p a go.

But it is quite exciting watching your item being bid up in the last few moments - or maybe I need to get a life!!

twinsetandpearls - LOL at 'the more tasteful' not selling on eaby, that is exactly what i have discovered from selling all my ds's old clothes, most of the nicer stuff has been sold through mumsnet rather than ebay!
i have found that through ebay, the bigger the label on the front the more it sells for!

Thanks twinset and pearls, that is a good tip about putting together an outfit , I bought a muscle exerciser off someone who was selling about 10 toys for 50p each! I am going to sign up for an account now.
