I am in a really difficult situation. A lady I know really well has power of attorney for her DP who lives in a nursing home. They are not married and she has no money of her own. She is using her DP's money to fund her lifestyle and I'm not just talking the odd shopping trip. I mean 1 carribbean cruise, 2 European Cruises and now the final straw is a convertible sports car.

she thinks he owes her and talks openly about it. I hate myself for knowing this as what she s doing is wrong.

Sould I report her? If I do it would have huge consequences for our family......

I think I would leave it personally. It's hard to know exactly what has gone on and why she feels like this.

Who stands to lose out over this - does the man have DCs? Is this lady their mother if so?

The man has 2 grown up ds's yes, she is not their mother. They are named in his will and not her.

I would report it as she is cheating his DSs out of any inheritance they may be entitled to.

I chaecked today and would have to put in a complaint against her and give my name and address. Don't think this is an option really for me, I'll have to shut up about it then. Which can be difficult when she is flaunting her new purcahses in front of me.
