Google independent mortgage advisor uk
they don't charge you, but find you the best deal & take a percentage from the mortgage company that you sign up with. You can tell them what kind of mortgage you are after & for how long & they will do the leg work for you

what about emailing major banks for quotes and enquire whether they would help, ie HSBC, Abbey/Santander, Barclays? they will all try to sell you their mortgage but it may give you a starting point - you dont have to use them but it gives you an idea how much it will cost

Have a look at Barclays and Bank of Scotland International,
I have just googled expat mortgages and this is one of the things that came up
I would probably contact the lenders direct as you may be charged a large fee by the brokers but you can call them and see first.
However I will say that given the current credit crunch most lenders will want to see 25% equity or more.
