Could someone translate this into non-lagal lingo, re a 'vacated trial'

Received a letter this am, which reads:

I would like to inform you that the above case listed at XXXX Magistrates Court on XXX April in court 2 for the prosecution to apply to vacate the trial. The reason for this application is due to the unavailability of SC xxxxx (special constable name give)

Now does this means that the trial will go ahead at a later date or will totally be cancelled???

should read 'has been listed at' in first line

IT means they messed up the availability of the dates as SC is not available and he is obviously giving important evidence.

It will be relisted at a later date when SC is available

Probably on leave or dates clash with another trial
