I've got an interview with a housing association next week - can anyone tell me where to begin to get up to speed on housing legislation about which I know next to nothing? thanks

Shelter always a good place to start - try here for information specifically on HA tenancies (assuming you're in England, they also have info for other UK countries, just go back to shelter.org.uk to choose a different country).

the Tenant Services Authority might be worth a look, advice sections for landlords and tenants and an overview.

The other big regulatory body for housing associations is the Homes & Communities Agency

There are several MNers who work for HAs, I think custardo may be one of them
