more.

DH is claiming income support with 3 child dependants and me, his wife.

We did recieve £190 per fortnight so thats £95 per week,

We got a letter saying his income support was going UP and his first new payment came in today at £290 per fortnight, thats £145 per week.

This is just his income as I get the child tax credits and child benefit into my account and we have had several letters from income support stating his old and new amounts.

Is it wrong? Do we need to contact them?

We both work and have a fraction of that every month after we've paid mortgage, council tax and transport to work.

NN, it goes up at 18 AND 25.

I've been offered a job when my children are in school/nursery (youngest 15 weeks) and I feel my back is up for it and I've looked at how much I will need to earn to replace what I get. It's crazy! I wonder if I can get a discount on my rent because it's my HA who have offered me a job

It is alot Carrie, thats why I posted.

We don't pay rent or council tax.

It is really stupid in ways because for us to currently recieve what we do now, DHs 'new' job would have to be a £4000 salary increase on his last one, thats just not going to happen.

We don't have to think about it for a while as hes not up to working yet, but wiill be hard when he is!
