If your involved then u should hear from ur solicitor

If it is criminal you can ring witness care ( Police) or the Court direct.
The court might not give you the info until the next day when it will have ben properly recorded and made public.
I am a DV officer and trying to get info from court is a nightmare.
I tend to reoly on my local rag paper

I have in the past rang the court admin office and have been told outcome before. Please could you tell me the outcome on the case of xxx. Sometimes they haven asked who I am I just say an "interested party"

You can try asking the Crown Prosecution Unit.
Assuming court case is heard in adult court then it is open to anyone and so you should be able to find out quite easily. Perhaps the local press had a reporter in court and would know the result? Certainly the court admin office should or perhaps you can ask someone else to attend as a member of the public and find out that way.
Of course it is different if the case is being heard in the youth or family courts as these are closed courts.

The magistrate courts often publish the verdict and sentence in the local newspapers. You can have a look in there.
