Buildings insurance for house let to family member

My great aunt used to own her own house. A couple of years ago she gifted it to another family member, to avoid inheritance tax. She pays a peppercorn rent. I don't think she's told her building insurance company about the change in circumstances, and I'm pretty sure that she needs to. I don't think she can insure the house any more, as she doesn't own it. I think the other family member needs to take out landlord's insurance. Does anyone know for definite?

A tenant can insure their rented house but they do need to know it is rented, some companies will do it, some won't.

She does need to check as she will probably not be covered if she hasn't informed them - even if they do cover this IYSWIM.

Landlord cover only covers the items the landlord actually owns.

if she gifted it and still lives in it only paying a peppercorn rent then she may well have issues with IHT anyway (well not her, but her estate).
