Can I do anything about the "drug den" at the bottom of my garden?

Ok, I'll try to keep the details brief.
We moved into this house about 3 years ago. The previous owners also owned next door and redeveloped it, then sold it on. They teemed up with family on the OTHER side of our house, and decided that they would halve the gardens to all three houses (these houses have very long thin gardens. They wanted to sell the land from the 3 gardens to developers to put flats on, which is annoying as the gardens are full of lovely massive trees, back on to the river and are full of wildlife. Anyway, we knew about all this, had a reduction in the price because of it, and fences were put up to block off the 3 halves of gardens that are still owned by the previous owners.
3 years down the line, they are still trying to get someone to buy the land, I think, and no development is proposed, as far as I know. At the bottom of each of the 3 gardens are various sheds and two brick garages. Because they are obviously unkempt and becoming a bit derelict, they seem to have been populated by drug dealers and takers, who have taken boards off the fences and now hop in and out of these gardens.

My question is, do I have any rights to request that the previous owners make the gardens secure, or make an effort to do something about the situation? I'm not actually bothered by the people that use the garden, but equally its not really pleasent, also i think local kids mess about behind there too, and god knows what they might come accross? Would it be worth calling the police? I do worry that we might be more at risk of burgulary because of this situation?
any adcice would be greatly appreciated!

Can you speak to the community police and the ppl who own the land?

I would def. call local police to enquire. Am sure they would be interested in a place used as a drugs den especially if teeneages were using the area and as you say could be in cntact with anything.

Do I have to call when people are actually there, do you think?
