Tax Credits - should I have done something by today?

We get (a paltry amount of) child tax credits and seem to remember last year we got a form to check. Realised we haven't had anything this year and I'm just wondering if I should have chased it up?

we are lucky enough not to need them and we are over the threshold but in the past we did need them and they messed us about and landed us in lots of trouble so I would not like to be in the situation of needed them again.

Sorry gilly I was very hungry when I reacted to that post, but now I've eaten and am a happy bunny again! I know what you mean, I always put myself under pressure. But I always knew I would get round to it before the deadline, I certainly wasn't worried about the payments stopping. I didn't realise until I looked at the form, that the phone lines are open until 8 - I probably would have done it sooner if I'd known this!

twinset - me too. I had so much trouble, and indeed am STILL having so much trouble, that I simply do not claim it even though we are entilted to around £50 a month. I simply couldn't go through all that arseing about and stress again.
