anyone self employed exporting goods to usa?

just trying to find out the tax implications. told by an accountant that there aren't any really but i think he was meaning in terms of paying income tax here - just the same as for sales here.

what i want to find out is whether the goods are taxed when they enter the usa, and if so, does the purchaser pay this, or would i need to factor it into my prices?

Hi Califrau. I am a kilt maker and am planning to sell full kilt packages. The first place that I am selling them is in New York, but if that works well, I would be looking at other places too.

Will keep looking on the internet, and make an appointment with business gateway to see if they can help, but any more info would be great.
