How can landlords accept parental rent support for a minimum wage graduate?

My daughter has just graduated from Manchester University and has landed a job in the city but it is minimum wage.
Me and her dad have said that we will pay approximately 75% of her rent for her but, when she enquires about a property and they ask her wage, she is being told that she doesn’t earn enough.
Is there a way that we can make it clear to the potential landlords that she can afford it with our contribution?
Her dad, who earns more than me, is willing to be her guarantor but the conversation has never progressed to that stage with the estate agents.

Studio flats are generally cheaper to rent than 1 bed flats

Or

Rooms that have shared kitchen & bathrooms

The one in Marple is unfurnished. Does a recent grad have enough furniture?

@concertinacornflake- it really is ridiculous. The housing market is screwed.
