Does anyone use the cash back app TopCashBack?

Is it easy and worth it?

TIA

Yes 100%. I use it for everything I can, takes an extra minute. After birthdays and Christmas we have had over £100 back yearly.

CluelessAboutBiology · 24/05/2026 10:30

I use Quidco and it’s definitely worth it. I don’t buy anything that I wasn’t going buy anyway, and I’m going to buy it, I might as well get cash back.

if your phone provider is EE, there’s also an app called Airtime which gives you cashback.

ThisSunnyBea · 24/05/2026 10:53

Airtime covers other networks- I’m on Vodafone. The shops change all the time- I’ve currently got Sainsburys and the money racks up pretty quickly

Always check top cash back and Quidco for the best offer . Airtime stacks automatically on top

TheignT · 24/05/2026 10:54

Yes I use toppcashback and jamdonut.

nannynick · 24/05/2026 14:16

Airtime I like as it just works in the background.
I have an employee benefit one which works by purchasing a gift card. That is not so easy but I have use it for Sainsburys, Argos, Amazon.

It’s not much, 1-4% typically, but it does add up.
With Airtime they do monthly bonus but I find that can push me to buy something when I did not intend to - though stocking up is useful in this time of increasing inflation and possible supply disruptions.

Yes it's brilliant but its not for quick cashback. It can take some places 12 weeks to be payable but it all adds up. I usually have around 250/300 end of year which pays for my car. Youre welcome to my referral code if you wanted to message me. Youd get 20 sign up bonus and me 25 for recommending. Sprive is also good but thats linked to your mortgage only

I use jamdonut when I can as the cashback is in your account instantly but I think you need £10 to cash out.

Pipop235 · 24/05/2026 21:33

Here’s my Sprive code M1EXS9RJ

poshme · 30/05/2026 16:03

I use top cash back. I check before I buy anything- and every week I buy Tesco gift cards to pay for my shopping. 2.6% cashback which is available instantly.

Temporaryname158 · 30/05/2026 16:08

I used Quidco, great if you have to book hotels for work colleagues!!

I also use Sprive specifically to overpay my mortgage. My referral code for that is ZOVZUNMV and if anyone wants to use it, we both get money towards our mortgage. As with all cashback sites it’s only useful if you were buying it anyway but I need to buy food which isn’t covered by Quidco etc.

Movinginthesunlight · 30/05/2026 16:10

I have used top cashback for a couple of years, its brilliant. I wish I had thought of buying supermarket gift cards through there like others have!

Toooldtocare25 · 30/05/2026 16:15

I use top Cashback mainly , used to to everything on Quidco but they can be very hit and miss over whether they pay out
if you want £10 free here’s my link to topcashback
https://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/oscar581

if you have a mortgage though would recommend Sprive over these. This is because you see your effective cashback instantly. It’s used to pay off your mortgage and tells you how much in interest you would save. I like seeing things like 3 years off the mortgage for just shopping as I normally do. My only gripe is Lidl isn’t on there ! But maybe one day..
again if you use my referal code then you get £5
NRZRIXSZ as do I

what I would say to anyone is don’t treat any of these like a bank and hoard cash there’s no protection. So once you get a good amount send it to your mortgage or savings.

DinoLil · 30/05/2026 16:16

I've had over £1k back with Quidco over the years. Easy to use but does take months for the cash back to appear in your account.

Tillow4ever · 30/05/2026 16:23

Top Cashback is great - I’ve had hundreds back through it!

Eileen101 · 30/05/2026 20:13

I like quidco, sprive and Gains.

I prefer sprive for cashback over quidco as it is sent directly to my mortgage. I also prefer sprive over the cashback element in gains as the rates are better.

If anyone wants a code for sprive - 9R8PMT6Q. I believe it earns us both £5 when you do your first shop.

Toooldtocare25 · 01/06/2026 09:15

I used to love Quidco then they changed my account and I had a fair bit in and couldn’t get it. Now I realise I need to turn it round quickly on any of these sites. I like Sprive more because I see instant results rather than waiting to see if declined especially in big purchases. Been bitten too many times with holidays or insurance

Brahumbug · 02/06/2026 10:31

I use top cash back and I have had just over £500 back. Some of the cash does take a long time to come through, particularly insurance, but I have always got it eventually.

Toooldtocare25 · 14/06/2026 16:52

Yeh I prefer top cash back . Just found a few similar sites jam donut is one
similar to Sprive with gift cards but not linked to mortgage. Could probably accrue in both and send money to Sprive once Collected enough to double the hit
jam donut referral BJUNX
im doing anything I can to get it paid off 🤣

Schoolsoutforever832 · 17/06/2026 14:08

If you have a Chase account

It gives money back on most shop purchases, supermarkets, petrol, restaurants

It all adds up
