Hi all, i'm after some advice. I work full time but receive universal credits. I went to the denist yesterday where they said my treatment would be free because im in receipt of UC. But im not convinced thats correct, i think its still means tested regardless of being on uc.
I once got fined for collecting a prescription for free, which i hadnt realised i had to pay for? The fine was £100!
Does anyone please know,? Does being on UC mean your always excempt? Thank you

To be exempt from NHS fees you have to be below a certain income. I can’t remember what it is but it’s quite low.

No, it’s low income related even if on UC. I am on UC but dh works full time; I’m disabled and we still have to pay dental fees.
