Tax code changes

My work recently changed their pay system to another finance system. In December the:

Pay didn’t reach us on the correct date
Mixed up my salary with someone elses
cumulated total of taxable income increased and hMRC changed tax code to say I owed more tax

i asked for an updated payslip but say they can’t issue till next month.

my work phoned up HMRc to correct the accumulated totals and the amount of tax I’m due has decreased on a new tax code however this is not being based on taxable income, it’s based on income as if I was earning my salary without all my salary sacrifice decreases. In addition my accumulated totals have now added an extra £50K. work says it’ll all be corrected next pay slips but they will take several hundred out of my pay next month due to the still incorrect tax code. HMRC won’t go on my say so as they say my work have told them I’ve earned this much to date and won’t change it with up to date paperwork. I’ve had a real job getting back overpaid tax recently only for HMRC to continue saying I owe them more. My work seems to be thinking I’m unreasonable and it can wait but it’s me that is losing out financially

Would you escalate these matters to leadership in the company? Without an up to date pay slip now I will be down on next months pay as a result?
