That is something my daughter would love to do, how do I go about finding a nursery/school that offers apprenticeship? I feel this could be the better option for her 😊

we checked the websites of all the local nurseries that were accessible by public transport and then she rang to ask if they had any vacancies. She was offered two interviews and preferred ‘the vibe’ at the one she ended up accepting. It’s done her confidence the world of good to be working, and she’s a lot happier at home now she’s not stressing about going to college.

She needs to be in education or training until she is 18, so if school or college isn't for her, you need to work together to find her an apprenticeship.

But if you aren’t then nothing will come of it.

Ultimately the guidelines are there to justify taking away benefits for 16/17year olds
