Child savings accounts in Ireland? Anyone know ?

Posting here for traffic and the off chance that someone might know. I’ve googled but I just get confused.🫤 I have money for my dc in an account in England and I want to move it into a child’s saving account here in Ireland what are my best options here. Thank you so much ☺️

Child saving accounts in ROI aren't great. Credit union is most common, but interest rates are low.

Last time I looked in to it Bank of Ireland had the highest interest rates up to a certain amount.

I think you're better off opening a savings account in your name, or investment account, as a lot of them allow the child to withdraw from quite a young age. With that in mind, easier to have it attached to your own bank account.
