Hi
I am 29 and have 14 month old twins and live with DH.
I am due to return to self employed work soon, working alternating 1-2-1-2 days a week.
After contributing to the bills pot and paying my dad a small loan back, I will have around £1100 a month left.
I want to put £350 into a SIPP, £350 into a general savings pot (my DH will top this up to £1000) and £375 spending money each for socialising/ lunches/ family days out/ miscellaneous purchases for me or we both cover the twins.
Would you think this is a good balance? I don’t want to prioritise one or the other as I used to just save a lot and found myself burnt out.
