If you added up all the money you have in savings/ISAs, current accounts etc. how much money would you have in total?
I have £45,000 and I am 47.

I’ve frequently wondered whether this type of thread is some sophisticated method of sorting MN users into categories for onward marketing or the like! ;)

I don’t think that would work as there are many posters who are prone to exaggeration Grin

£38,500 as a couple (aged 35 and 43).

TerrifiedPassenger · 06/05/2025 19:18

Just after payday about £8k.

But I'm also <this> close to paying off my mortgage so have about £290k equity plus £50k in trust for my dc.

I'm doing ok thanks. But I've been on the bones of my arse financially speaking not too long ago, so every penny has been spent/saved/invested wisely, plus some inheritance.

I can currently put my hands on about £57k. I'm 41 and DH is 43.

After a shoogle down the sofa have 32p, a fluffy sticky lolly stick and 3 lego blocks... bet you're all well jell!

Just shy of 2k, but recently took on entire mortgage after separation so hoping to build up again.

I have about 4 years worth of expenditure, plus equity in my mortgage-free house. My savings will only ever go down though, as I decided when I retired to stop saving anything in excess of the amount needed for income tax, and to spend my pension having fun.

CrownCoats · 15/05/2025 17:24

About £170k excluding pensions and property and I’m early 40s.
