Which car?

Looking for a reliable, automatic, safe, economic, affordable, hybrid car for a family of 4. Not too large but spacious and comfortable. 2 teens and 2 adults.

We have always have a Toyota, last one is Corolla, however we do not like the new speed control intelligence system which beeps all the time; you can switch off but have to go through various options on a menu and do so for every single journey.

Thinking of Nissan or Skoda; don’t know much about cars so any advice would be helpful.

TIA

Toyota harrier. Skoda kodiaq is nice too but I don't know if it comes in a hybrid version.

I've just swapped a 1 series BMW for a Volvo V60 estate and love it! My kids are teens, both not far off 6 feet tall so needed something bigger, plus an estate version for the doggo lol 😂

My sister has one and is happy with it.

Will check last ones. Thank you. We live in London so don’t want too big car due to issues with space and parking which is limited where we live.

The regulations require that advanced drivers aids like speed limit warnings or lanekeeping assist come on automatically at the start of each journey. Most manufacturers bury the off switches deep inside the system menus so you have to fart around at the beginning of every journey.

Current Renault and Dacia models all have a physical button called 'My Perso' on the dash, which allows you to store your own preferences and then apply them with just two presses of the button - much easier than diving into screen menus. It's a game changer for us, and the motoring press seems to rate it highly.

We've got a hybrid Dacia Jogger which meets all your requirements, although there are smaller cars like the Renault Clio if you find the Jogger too big.
