Universal Credit reporting other income

I work full time and my husband is a full time carer for our severely disabled daughter.

If he managed to get the occasional bit of additional income, for example he makes a few pounds from uploading artwork on Red Bubble, does online survey work, mystery shopping or sees a bargain and sells it on eBay for a profit how would he report this?

I looked at entitled to and if I put it as self employed income the minimum income floor comes into play which (I think) makes the assumption he earn National Minimum Wage which he must certainly does not!

Is there another way of declaring ad-hoc bits of income?

He hasn’t earned anything yet, we are just looking into it.

Thanks

Similar to self employed income. Assuming it's treated as earnings it should be declared at the end of the Assessment Period

If he's getting carers allowance or carers element for looking after your daughter then the mif won't be applied to him

I think these would be treated as self employed earnings

I think if you think it would be taxable then report it. If not then don't. Link below explains some things.

Side hustle income

Be careful with that advice. Earnings are still taxable even if you don't pay tax as your earnings are less than your personal allowance.
