Potential cifas marker

Agh wrote a massive post and then managed to swipe it away so will make this one short.
Due to my DH's financial incontinence (not managing his overdraft and paying the fees) the bank are closing his current account. The upshot is that they are also closing out joint account as you have to hold a current account to have a joint one.
I know cifas markers are usually associated with fraud but is there a chance he could get one because of this? Could I end up with one too as a result of our financial association by being married?
I work in an industry where this would be a big no-no - potentially my professional qualification could be removed and my job put at risk.
All for the sake of £26 (which I have now paid for him but cannot afford to pay off his overdraft).
N.B. He is incredibly tight when it comes to finances, won't contribute meaningfully and seems to think I should cover everything to do with our children (they are his). I am the higher earner so do pay more which is fine.
Am I worrying unnecessarily or has he put the final nail in the coffin on finances and our relationship too?

You won’t get a CIFAS marker but it is likely that your financial association will have affected your credit score, it would be worthwhile checking your score.

Unless there's something else going on (fraud/misrepresentation meaning he got lending he wasn't entitled to or similar), there won't be a CIFAS marker.

However - if an account has a balance owed at the time of closure, there will be a default. If a joint account holds a balance at the time of closure, the default would be for both of you.

Thanks for your help.
No, the joint account has a small amount of money in but no overdraft. His account is in overdraft. I assume if they close it with the overdraft there he will need to make an arrangement to pay it back.
I might be sounding mean but I have worked SO hard to improve my credit rating (I was left in financial ruin by ex-DH and it feels like history is repeating itself).
Feeling v sad, angry and let down about the whole situation.
