Change of circumstances

I am filling in a change of circumstances in the universal credit portal to mention health conditions I’ve been diagnosed with and it’s asking me if I’m receiving treatment for them. I’m not sure if medication comes under that criteria

I think receiving treatment would normally mean something like surgery or chemo. The phraseology around receiving, expecting to receive or recovering are, for example, very similar too those in the Schedule in the UC Regs relating to certain conditions and automatic Limited Capability for Work etc.

If your condition means you cannot work then the Work Capability Assessment will explore everything, including medication, in more detail.

I don't know about the context, but normally I would say absolutely being on medication (and probably also on GP followup as well?) is "receiving treatment" for a condition. As opposed to, I'm depressed but no I haven't seen my GP and I'm not taking anything for it. For example. If from context it is not clear on the form I would definitely seek clarification rather than assume you can't put something down.
