OK

Instead of buying a property - I am considering renting

If I went with this particular option I would be doing it all my self

I would be able to self-finance

I could lose about £50k

I could make some money

It's very complicated

Not sure what I want of MN - just to talk I guess?

Oh hello - I saw your advert for Lollipops - are you a childminder?

Er no we are "childcare on a domestic premises"

Oh so you're a nursery then

Erm no we're not that either

OK

We are actually talking about a new chapel - not the one I was banging on talking about initially

Hmm - see what you mean Katymac.

I have just phoned OFSTED and they don't really seem to have a clue about the in's and out's of what "childare on a domestic premises is going to be" Other than one of the criteria is one childminder will have to be a 'manager' and have NVQ3 (but this is discretionary up until 2011). Ultimately everyone will need a childcare qualification and someone present on the property at all times with NVQ3.

I asked them whether you would be advertised as a nursery or childminder and they said they didn't know.

Not very helpful really.

To top if off I just phoned the council to get booked in on the course and basically it's a race against time to get on any list because they have not scheduled any more meetings/inductions until after Sept and the dates aren't decided.

GRR - going for my fist hour next week so I am excited.
