Over £100k - funded hours/tax free childcare

We currently get funded hours and use tax free childcare. Pay rise from this month means annual equivalent goes over £100k. For complicated reasons I won’t go in to here, reducing it with pension contributions etc isn’t an option.

So, is the £100k limit applicable over a whole tax year, in which case we’re still eligible until end March? Or are you ineligible in any 3 month period where you earn the equivalent of £100k? The guidance suggests the former but I haven’t managed to find anything which makes it totally clear.

If anyone has a link to a resource which confirms this one way or another I’d be very grateful.
