I work for an NHS trust. An fellow employee was injuried after a moving/handling incident and is now claiming, The Trust is claiming that the staff had training to do something which would have prevented accident. I know 100% this is not true. We got training after accident. So I have given statement to claimants solictors to say I did not receive training prior to incident. Just wondering if I will get into trouble with my employers for giving statement,

You shouldn't get into trouble - if you are in a Union, consult your rep. The Trust should be able to substantiate the training claim with documentary evidence. There should be a whistle-blowing procedure to protect staff, not sure if it would apply in this case or not, but try to track it down if possible. You shouldn't face disciplinary procedures for telling the truth if that is what you are worried about.
